William talks about The Structure of Scientific Revolution by Thomas Kuhn as a way to show how we can better persuade others of our views.

We should not poke holes in the paradigms of others, expecting they will abandon their views therefore. Rather, we need to build better paradigms, better explanations for all the data we observe and experience in the world.

Then, the guys talk about the paradigms shifts in their own lives: various times they have changed their minds about big things.

Also, Dave talks about his hobby of garage sale shopping. And Dave presents William with a gift.
